Keith has a commercial and pragmatic approach to the application of employment law and provides his clients with no-nonsense, results-driven advice.
Keith is a Partner in our Employment law team and has specialised in this area of law since qualifying as a solicitor with Greenwoods GRM in 2002. He takes a commercial approach to advising clients, applying his extensive knowledge to achieve the best possible practical results. Prior to joining the firm Keith trained as an accountant with a large national firm, and has a sound grasp of the figures as well as the law in any situation in which he is advising.
Keith advises employers on all aspects of employment law from drafting and negotiating high value termination packages to conducting employment tribunal litigation. He has considerable experience assisting clients with large scale business reorganisations including TUPE and redundancy situations, and works closely with the Greenwoods GRM Corporate and Commercial team managing the employment aspects of major corporate transactions. Keith also advises clients on the most sensitive, complex and high value employee management issues including redundancies, conduct and capability issues and senior executive terminations.
Keith takes an active role in the team’s training programme. He continues to produce and present seminars and workshops on a number of topics covering cutting edge developments in employment law aspects of social media, age discrimination, holiday pay, tribunal procedures and TUPE.
Keith combines interests in military history and horse riding into historical cavalry re-enactment. On various weekends throughout the summer he can be seen across Europe and the UK commanding the British cavalry division of the Napoleonic Association.View whole team →
