Senior Professional Support Lawyer
Charlotte Davies is a Senior Professional Support Lawyer in the Employment team and is based in the firm’s Cambridge office.
Prior to joining Greenwoods GRM, Charlotte was a senior employment lawyer working both at City law firms and in-house. She has acted for employers across a variety of sectors, from technology, media and financial services to retail, health, charity and education. Charlotte has significant experience in advising clients on all areas of employment law, including on complex litigious matters in the Employment Tribunal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the High Court.
Charlotte is highly skilled in the management of legal knowledge and is a vital member of the Employment team. She equips all members of the team with the specialist training, legal resources and expert knowledge they need in order to deliver an outstanding service to clients.
Charlotte is passionate about knowledge management and, together with the wider knowledge team, seeks to promote and develop excellent knowledge management across the wider firm. She believes that effective knowledge management is key to the provision of exceptional legal advice.
Charlotte designs and presents bespoke training packages to clients on a full variety of employment law issues. Her training has consistently received excellent feedback and has led to repeat instructions for the team as well as a number of new instructions from clients and targets.
Together with the firm’s business development team, Charlotte writes and manages the team’s external seminars and conferences helping to strengthen the firm’s presence in London, Peterborough and Cambridge. She presents regularly at these events and frequently receives praise from clients for her clarity and ability to translate complex legal issues into straightforward language. She also works to ensure that the delivery of these events is as fresh and effective as possible, drawing on new technologies where appropriate.
Clients rely on Charlotte’s expert and informative email alerts to bring them the latest key developments in employment law, which will often have a direct impact on the way their business is run.
Charlotte is passionate about mental health issues. She is a trained mental health first aider (“MHFA”) and works with a team of other MHFAs to help ensure that the firm’s employees can all benefit from positive mental health. The firm and the MHFAs are committed to the promotion of positive mental health in the workplace.
Working with the firm’s HR team, Charlotte trains the firm’s managers and future leaders on employment law issues helping to ensure best practice at senior management level.View whole team →
